With fixed-rate fares, AirPass provides predictability, and members enjoy exclusive benefits on every flight regardless of the class of service flown. AirPass fares are priced as one-way trips, and fares are calculated using a combination of miles flown, cost per mile, and a cabin multiplier based on class of service and market flown.

Miles flown are calculated on a per-segment basis between the origin and destination. If you have a stop along the way, your fare between each origin and destination will be calculated separately.

The cost per mile remains constant throughout the duration of your contract, so you never experience any unexpected changes in the cost of your trip.

Cabin multipliers are based on the class of service and market flown. To determine the cabin multiplier, simply match up the class of service you want to fly with the mileage band that corresponds with your trip from the AirPass pricing grid:

Booking travel on airline partners

AirPass provides members with exclusive fixed-rate fares when traveling on American and eligible airline partners. To calculate fares for AirPass travel with an airline partner, select an eligible class of service and use the simple fare calculation.
